Favorite 1911 Make

Low end production ($600-1500) - Springfield & Colt
High End production ($1500-2500) - ed brown
Custom ($4000-6000+) - Chuck Rogers, Dave Erickson

I would hardly consider Springfield as low end. Is spending more than $1000 on a handgun even worth it when others that are cheaper have the same effect to the person on the wrong end of it? Not bashing the post or anything.

Depends on your budget and needs.
