There are none as blind as those who would rather not see. This question has already been answered. Shall I repeat it?

According to the Biblical account....
Mankind was created in perfection, they were to live forever in perfection.
That was the plan...as long as no one ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Once that sin took place, all of mankind and nature for that matter began to decline, to suffer, to die. They then began to "know" evil and the effects of it. There were no physical abnormalities before sin. But after Eden they lived in a dying world with all the effects, disease, sadness, dying, crime, hard work, birth defects...etc etc etc none of which they knew before or would have ever known if but for sin.
