That wouldn't work. We do look for leaders but not like that.

Just take a step back and think about this. Let's say we were in the Nuclear War scenario. Countries would be battling each other and destroying one another but citizens remain. They are still a nation even if their leaders have been toppled and armies beat down. Lets just throw North Korea out there as an example. N. Korea initiates warfare and the world fought on both sides, but we are now in the aftermath. Are you telling me that both sides would be willing to cooperate and form one government? After all of that devastation are we able to forgive and forget. No... that is not the human way.

Our religions and beliefs aren't enough to change that. Thats like saying Kung Pao (lol) slit my mothers throat and burned my family alive on his governments command. Some of those powers and people behind the curtain still remain, but I am going to forgive them and be on their side now.
