It's all good man. I use to be the same way until someone showed me the proper way to hold/shoot a handgun. It feels a little bit funny at first because it is new, but a little practice and you'll be controlling that handgun effortlessly. Go on youtube and watch as many Todd Jarrett videos as you can. He is one of if not the best in the world. Of course you won't become a pro by watching the videos but really listen to what he is saying and really focus on doing what he says and exactly as he says the next time you shoot. I think you'll be suprised and what a proper technique and some practice will do for you.
