And I'll never take that shot again. The 2nd deer walked in front of the first as I pulled the trigger. The first deer hit went right down, but the 2nd deer we never found. We found tons of blood, but never found the deer. The bullet must have been to mushroomed and mangled to have any penetrating power after it passed through the first deer.

My grandfather killed two deer with one shot before, first dropped and second one ran about 10 yards and fell over. He didn't know the second deer was there until it ran, he was asleep in the stand when they came out.
