Default T-Mobile Vs AT&T Plans? Which is better for you?

I have T-Mobile right now but looking into AT&T because I have an iPhone. I'm currently on family plan w/ unlimited minutes and texts. Can AT&T do better with the quality and price compared to T-Mobile? Thoughts and opinions?

Never had t-mobile, but I have had AT&T for a little over a year and havent had a single problem with them, the roll over minutes work great between me and my girlfriend. We had verizon before hand and I will never go back to them, every month they were charging us overages for $100's. But I have been pretty satisfied and happy with AT&T.

Our plan is 1100 min, unlimited text, data plan. I think we pay 150-175$ a month both of us have Iphones.

You realize with t-mobile you can get unlimited minutes, messages, and data for 90 bucks a month now no contract

If you have a iphone, you could get internet plan, unlimited minutes and texts with a family for a good deal, and you'll get the iphone ALOT cheaper than you'll get it from CL or something. I might switch to At&t when my contract ends with tmobile, I don't have signal in many places lol.

But I kinda like my tmobile plan, family plan, unlimited minutes/texts and I think its like $150ish. 4 lines.

PS - with an iphone you HAVE to have the data package to make it work. which is an extra 35... then if you want unlimited messaging thats an extra 20. then if you also want unlimited minutes its 100 bucks.

so that'd be 155 before taxes. for one phone. ridiculous.

T-Mobile plans suck now. AT&T plans have always sucked tho. I have T-Mobile and I have an older plan, they got some new plans with unlimited taking but they charge you out the ass. And lately they have been having issues with their servers and junk, sometimes your phone won't even work. Same goes for those that have Blackberries through T-Mobile your BBM won't work at times. Sucks ass.

^ how is $60 for unlimited minutes charging you out the ass? that's cheap as balls.

esp the $90 unlimited talk, text, & data - thats a RIDICULOUSLY good deal. i pay 130 for 800 minutes, and unlimited data and text with a regular plan through tmo.

It's $99 for unlimited talk, text, & data. Anyway, I pay $70 right now for the same thing. $60 is JUST unlimited talk. Not including text and/or data. So to me that's charging out the ass.

Never had any problem with T-Mobile. Got a family plan $119/month (I think, or maybe its $109) for 4 lines, 500 minutes, and 2 lines have unlimited internet (using G1s). We don't really care too much about the minutes, so 500 is more than enough.

500 for 4 people is enough? Holy shit lol. We had 700 and always would get like 685, and thats with being careful. Now we have unlimited.

Well only 2 lines out of the 4 every really use any minutes. But a lot of time its Tmobile to Tmobile so its free anyway. Plus texting is more to the point.

I have Verizon (6 years now) and AT&T for business (8 years now). I prefer the Verizon for coverage & billing but I have the right plan and yes that matters 100%. Family plan (2,400 minute plan/unlimited text, etc.) with 6 phones and under $250 a month.

I prefer AT&T simply because of the I-Phone and other phone models but haven't tried out the Droids yet so that may change to Verizon soon.

You must have a 2g iphone data package which did include text. But all smart phones data package is $30 for pop3 access and text is a separate.

MY family has been with AT&T forever pretty much. Lol.
I have a friend on t-mobile, and he never has reception, misses calls all the time, and gets text days later. Lol.

I have a family plan, we have like 1400 minutes for 5 lines (roll over is nice too) + free calls to any AT&T phones, nights, weekends, + unlimited text, and we pay under $200 for it all after taxes.
Most ppl we know have AT&T, and plus we do a lot of calling amongst each other which = free. 1400 might not seem like a lot for 5 lines, but it's plenty when you have the other perks.

since you have the 1400 minute rate plan don't forget to call in and add the free AT&T A-list Feature...it allows you to add up to 10 *non-at&t* numbers that you can call for free

I just picked up a BoostMobile phone as a spare - 50 bux a month unlimited everything. I have AT&T on my other phone - but I don't receive a bill (employee).

WRONG. You can block the data, so you can use the iPhone (as AT&T customer) without paying for their data plan service. You just have to bust a little trick, but it's for people who don't use 3G service and just wanting to use iPhone.

Right now I'm paying $170 for 4 people on Family Plan with 2000 whenever minutes and unlimited texts. Can AT&T do better? I have an iPhone too so I would need the data plan with one of the lines.
