I test for E-5 in january, I had to finish some testing and stuff and I did it in one UTA weekend and my 1st sert said it normally takes most people 6 months so he moved my promotion date up for me.
I ranked to E5 in 17 months. From Private to ranger, to ranger battalion, then SEREs POW, then Q course, then left the military.

AF has a few AFSC's that are combat oriented(TACP, CCT, PJ)..not all just sit on base. And security forces don't really count, even though on occasion they do see combat(rarely).
But yeah, from what I understand there's not a whole lot going down in Iraq anymore.
Oh ya I know AF has their elite... Ive worked with a few... I just know haji isnt one of them. Plus nothing is in Iraq... the rest of us are staging up for Afghanistan
