Not unreasonable by any means. Satan is the great deceiver and of course is very good at it.

Taking the question for it's literal meaning, if the Bible was inspired by Satan, then Satan siimply inspired the book to be written as Satan being the loser at the end of the book. Good versus evil, Good triumphs and we call it a day. So if it was inspired by Satan, then he helped to write a book that tells of himself failing.

If Satan came to earth as Jesus, even then, Satan himself is defeating himself... because the Bible (if inspired by Satan in this scenario) tells of the coming of the one who will cast out Satan forever and all eternity. So if he came to earth as Jesus, told the story about him defeating himself, he would still lose because the "worshipping" of people would still go to some guy named Jesus and God and not Satan.

The analogy would be Brett Favre putting on a Peyton Manning jersey and playing a game like Peyton Manning and beating the Vikings (with Farve at quarterback on both sides... only one is in costume)... People will be chanting Manning... even though Favre was the one under the uniform. (not physically possible but we are pretending with this scenario anyway)

Good answers don't usually come that early.
