Man I saw this at best buy and I must get it. Its $4999 now but I am thinking after christmas or hoping it will be cheaper. I know thats kinda extreme but its a hdtv, but who knows after christmas i may change my mind.

What kind is it, is it DLP? If it's DLP check if it has either the HD2+ or the HD4 chip in it.

There is such a thing as a TV that's too big. Check what your viewing distance is, you'll need a huge room for it to be an ideal size.

Projectors can't hold a candle to a Plasma or DLP/ LCD flat panel. The brightness can't compare no matter how high the Lumens is.

I suggest you wait for the 80" and 108" that will be out soon, yes that's a flat panel. 1080P to boot.

to have a 72" t.v. you will need a big ass room and a 80" or 108" t.v. is out of control but i want one. i need a bigger house though.
