I've caught two 5-6 punders so far this month on separate days. It's cold ass shiet trying to catch these stripes but its worth it when you do prove it that you can catch some from the BANK! The place that I go to, I just cast about 15ft++ as far as I can cast without the bluebacks from falling off and they still bite. The water level's gotten pretty dam high @ lake lanier and the fish are closer to shore now. Stripes can't stay in the deep all day and they gotta come ashore sometime. Freeline should work as well as cut bait or live. Mornings would be the best time but if you're out there all day in this weather, the striper's gonna bite @ least once; even the small ones.

It's getting cold ass shiet now so i don't know if it's worth it to get sick for. haha Plus its my buddies hotspot so I don't wanna bring a ton of new folks and reveal our spot. The water level got so high in our spot that only 1-2 people can actually fish from our bank now.
