Can you apply to become a fighter pilot when you join the AF?

I hear that fighter pilot school is hard as CRAP to get into. But I wouldn't know. I knew I couldn't do it b/c I'm blind as a bat, hahahaa!

As far as Air Traffic Controller, I've got a couple friends in that field, I'll try to see what they say, then relay it to ya.

you have to have a 4 year degree in something physics related, having your private pilot's liscense already generally helps a lot... you need at least a b average, or a really good excuse to have a c average... and you need an officer's comission

as of now, you can't go straight from being a civilian to being a comissioned officer for flying... so you have to enlist first and then apply for the comission after you've served for a little bit.

i've been researching this quite seriously, the physical requirements don't offer a lot of flexibility... and it is very hard to get into the flight school.

    i'm trying anyway
