    Default My First Deer

    So, I was asleep in a tripod. A stand of pines in front of me, a clear cut behind me. I awoke to the deer crashing through the bush. I was like Ahh, shit. I slowly pulled my gun from the corner, sounded loud as shit.lol. Aimed up, and put the bullet behind the front shoulder and shot. 3 steps and down. I shoot core lockt(sp) in a .270. Heres a pick already mounted.

    Yeahh,lol, sorry about that. Cell pics. Nahh, Living room of my college apartment. I killed it a few years ago. Freaked my roommates out though,haha. Any body else got some to post up?

    What did you do with the deer when you first killed it? Skinned it? Ate it?

    We took it to the barn, skinned it to the shoulder so I could mount it, took the head off. Then we took all the meat off the bones and put them in a cooler and let it sit for 2-3 days to bleed out. Then we took it to a processor and had sausage and ground deer made out of it.
