guaged ears??

dont know if this has been discussed but i plan on takin mine down to 0s,just so they can grow back...just wanted to see peoples views on it are.

reasonable gauges are straight, a buddie of mine had double 0's and they wern't too bad, just stay away from coke-can status lol

Yeah, I went to 4s and you can't even tell anymore. As long as you don't go to far they will be fine.

I moved pretty quick. I went from a standard 18guage piercing to a 10 in probably two weeks. From there I waited about 10-14days between each jump.

I got 6's an I just jumped straight from standard stud size post to the 6... It didn't hurt. I heard some pple will do it in the shower the heat and moisture helps your skin stretch.

I mixed it up, I used plugs alot early then used more tunnels later. And x2 on the shower thing, I used to always do mine right after I got out of the shower so that your skin stretches more.

If you run plugs it's really hard to even tell to someone who doesn't know what they are looking at until you get into the bigger guages.

gauged both my holes in both ears myself. had 10's in the top holes and double 0s in the bottom holes. i like them while i was into it considering i had them since i was 15 up until like about a year and a half ago i just took them out one day for no reason. haven't wore any since. even tho my top holes haven't shrunk a bit and my bottoms are around a 4 maybe a little smaller.

lol i made the mistake of jumping from a 16 to a 4 in my bottom holes. what fun that was. then i just went to a 0 from there and to a double 0. i accidentally did the double 0 cause i needed some new ones and the package was in the wrong section but i didn't pay any attention and just grabbed them and bought them. next thing you know im like aww fuck. o well and just done it.

i started stretching my ears in 1996..i have gone up to an 1.5 inch and have taken out and restretched time and time again..im now settled at 1 inch..im content with it..but it will not shrink much further than 1/2 inch or so

I started stretching mine in 99. Got pierced with an 8 gauge and stretched to 1 7/8". Then took em' out for about three years and they were still at 1/2" when I put them back in. As long as you stay around 0 or 00 gauge, they should shrink down pretty good. Once you start going past 1/2", I'm not sure that they would shrink completely down. Currently, I'm at 1 1/8"; as far as the job situation: As long as you present yourself as intelligent and wear the appropriate clothing to your interview, then that's all that matters. I work for a software company doing QA, so I don't really see any clients or anything, but it's still a Business Casual environment. I'm working on my Software Engineering Degree from GA Tech now...If you have piercings and tattoos and are trying to make it in the corporate world, it is definitely possible. It's all about how bad you want it. You make it all possible for yourself. F**k what everyone else thinks. If your a dumbass, you'll still be a dumbass after you stretch your ears. If your an intelligent person, then you'll still be an intelligent person after you stretch your ears. Good luck with it man. Just don't go too fast with it; ripping is no fun.

7/16 is what im @ now. most jobs ive had (resturant) dont really care as long as my ears werent bigger than a quarter. most jobs are big on visible tats, ears not so much.

yeah i've gauged mine numerous times and let them grow back.. at different times i had some sixes.. grew back... 2's.. grew back... 4's.. grew back.. now i just rock studs.. i've gauged them so many times (improperly) that the inside is pretty scared up so it's hard to stretch and hurts like a mother.. of course no one but myself can tell that it's scared.. i don't meant they look gross or anything.. you can just feel it on the inside.
