this was last year on he opening day of bow season for deer. he was coiled up and when i shot him he got stuck in this pose. it was pretty neat. my buddy the one who almost got bite took the snake to a taxidermist and requested it be mounted like this but it was going to cost to much. he ended up getting it skinned and just the skin mounted.
