I did not miss your point, you made it very clearly. I was just making mine. I do see beyond race or nationality because I have grown up in ver racist areas. For example, the Grand Dragon of the KKK still lives 15 minutes away from me. Therefor, I can see pass people's color of their skin.
Just because Puerto Rico is a commonwelth of the United States does not mean that we will be "another star another state". Look at American Samoa, and the Virgin Islands.
