i think i may be the only one in this thread that is not a fan of tag's. Im not a fan of small watches. I need a watch with some weight to it.

I would rather get a nice raymond & weil, oris, ball engineering, baume mercier, breitling or bell & ross for around the 1k-3.5k range

What Breithlings are available at that price? The Carrera does have some size to it and the Monaco.

I know a jeweler in atlanta so any watch i try to go through him for the best prices. I will go to torneau in lenox to look at the watch and get a feel first then i will order it through my jeweler

^ I like my Breitlings busy! As a matter of fact, that is a requirement..

If I want something simple, a stainless Rolex will suffice..

Seems there is minimal scratching done to it as well.. My boyfriend is a big fan of watches so Im trying to educate myself on the nicer ones.. I hate watches or bracelets, just seems to get in the way.

I have a Rolex Daytona with diamonds in the 12, 3, 6, and 9. Next time I go to Atlanta I will take it out of the safety deposit box and take a picture or two!

Cool watch, shitty picture. I've had this for almost 10 years. Mortima Super Datomatic. 21 jewels. It's a late 1960s model I believe. It has on feature that is a pain in the ass but I love it. It's a manual winder. Keeps me steady winding it every morning. Heavy, big chunk of metal.

My unkle works with watches so I've seen some nice ones over the years.

I like them to have a few basic complications and not have the bling bling look. Just serve its purpose well.

I'd say Breitling are my favorites but i wish they weren't so expensive.
