It will shoot and feel different if you ever have to use it. Yes, now-a-days it is not frugal to spend $50 worth of your "good" ammo down the range at paper, but atleast get familiarized with what your carry load feels like if and when you ever have to use it. Far too often I see people at the range get "surprised" by what a hot load feels like. You don't see baseball players hitting wiffle balls for practice just because it's easier to hit, right? I have said that same statement a million times to the new gun owners i meet and 80% of the time they cannot afford it. I tell them its better to buy a entry level pistol and shoot several thousands of rounds through it than to buy a really nice pistol and only familierize yourself with like a 50rd box. I usually spend close to $300 on carry ammo when i first buy one to find out what I and The Gun like. Anywho..
