I've been fishing at a remote island thats part of lake lanier. All I have to do is cast about 10 feet on this one spot because it's hecka deep already after you see the rocks cliffs from the shore. 10-30ib stripers be hitting real good here and there right near the bank. I've just started using blueback herrings since its the best live bait to use. Minnows are a 50/50 given. I'd fish for anything that's worth good eating! Hit me up with some pointers and hotspots! I still can't seem to find a hotspot at Lake Oconee! No boat owner here!!

Hit up the river channels on the lake, and also the deep water near I-20 bridge are really good places. Ive fished out there every year. Put it this way, last year in the river channels, we brought in 200lbs worth of blue cats in a day and half. Good stuff

    btw, I have a 14ft Jon-Boat for sale
