I'm curious, what would I be missing out on? Since I believe?

TBH, you're not missing out on anything. Atheists just don't recognize the social burden in believing in god. What I'm saying is, a lot of people were forced to believe in god by society, their parents or whatever. We recognize that it's ok not to. I used to be Christian, there's a certain weight lifted off your shoulders knowing that you're not going to hell

That's kind of what I was getting at but it is not like I'm "hedging my bets so to speak". My mom is a Christian, my dad has questions about religions and I believe in God and the Bible. I am for sure nondenominational though.
