Hudson's in Douglasville. The best I've eaten from anywhere. I don't know if it is still there but Millear's or something like that in Union City/ Fairburn was good too.
i guess it's hard to come to a concensus since there are so many of them in atlanta -__-
Jim's/Nick's off of Old Peachtree is really good
JR's has awesome bruinswick stew

See I don't really think Fat Matts is that great. I mean it's good, and I'll eat there, and the place is just cool, but I seriously doubt it's the best Atlanta has to offer.
Spiced Right across from Mahdavi is good as hell. I work at a Shanes and I hate it. LOL

i always wanted to try Spiced Right. It normally has a decent amount of cars there.Originally Posted by Revmaynard

The Mustard Seed in Mechanicsville is the best in the WORLD!!!! It is in the heart of the ghetto and hard as hell to find. Just a screen door on the side of an auto service strip mall.(cv center, and a couple tire joints). The amount of food you get is ridiculous and the sauce is mustard based. i didnt thin i would like it but it was the best BBQ i have ever eaten.
