I would expect an 18 year old to say something idiotic like that.

Most American beer is tasteless pisswater. Only good for drinking games and keg parties.

I like dark Belgian (or Belgian-style) high alcohol beers. Delerium Nocturnum and Unibroue 17 (which isn't made anymore ) to name a few.

    ugh.. agreed...

i basically don't drink beer unless i'm wanting to enjoy one with meal... i don't use beer to get drunk...

i'm a tap guy as well... not too big on bottled/canned beer... puple haze/dos equis amber/new castle.... prolly my favorites... will drink corona... and will force down coors/budlight/for games if it's all i have...

how old are you? lol. highlife isnt bad, for the money.

i like Lager beers myself: Yuengling/Heineken/ Dos Equis..i love all those.

dont like wheat beers: blue moon/420. just dont like the taste.

havent tried too many of the darker beers personally. i mostly drink cheap beer, gotta save money.

games: power hour/ beer pong/ circle of death/flip cup. all those are fun.

Keystone for the broke college student days. I have only seen one of the orange cans when they were doing that pretty cool. I love miller light and bud light when money isn't tight. What a good European beer to try?

    Wow.

I've never quite understood why people drink Bud, miller, michelob or coors for the taste.

The only time I resort to those is

    a) its dollar draft night
    b) I am chugging beer and don't want to waste decent beer
    c) It's free
I'm just that guy that spends all his time printing.... T-shirts, banners, vinyl, etc.

Hmmm, well here is what I've gone through over the past week or so.

Going from left to right, we hae Flying Dog Golden Ale, three bottles of Dixie, Yuengling Black and Tan, Hoegaarden, and Breckenridge Vanilla Porter. Not pictured is a bottle of Chimay Red. Someone decided to sneak off with the rest after the game last night. Chimay Is probably some of the best beer that you kind find regularly in liquor stores. It's high gravity so that buzz comes on quick. Another really good one that I've been on lately is Blithering idiot. It's expensive, but also another high gravity beer that's worth tasting. It's about $14 for a 6 pack.

lol @ coors light, thats one of the worst.

im not too picky. i used to like heineken.

i like corona, sapporo, and these two brazilian beers (cant get them here, unless you're in miami) called skol and bohemia. i can drink these 2 all night, they taste unbelievable.

i've tried amstel light, sam adams boston lager and yeungling (sp?) and those were pretty good too.

I'm not sure, but I'll check for you when I stop by today. I do know that I've seen one called Bohemia.

*Full disclosure: I work for Whole Foods that's why I get all these great beers. We've just got so much stuff it's hard to get through it all without becoming a borderline alcoholic.

I tried to brew my own and I got all the way to the bottling stage. I added a mix of sugar to the second pail in order to get the second fermentation and placed it all in bottles. I woke up a day later and every single bottle exploded in my tub. I had filled 36 bottles and had to clean glass out of my tub for like 2 hours. Ever since then I just didn't try again because I wasted so much money on that first batch.

I most definitely added too much sugar during the second fermentation stage. I may give it another shot later because I still have all the supplies sitting around.

I only drink beer for drinking games like beer pong and keg stands. If i had to choose a beer that i would take my time in drinking it would be Corona or Heineken.
