Ok so I took the gun out and put about 25 rounds through it while my wife was out shopping today. She didn't get a chance to shoot it. She's going to try it tomorrow.

So far I am highly pleased with it. The recoil is pretty light considering the weight of the gun. When firing 38spl +p rounds the recoil is similar to a 9mm automatic handgun. It's also pretty accurate to have such a short barrel. Shooting at a 12" circular target, I was able to hit all five shots in the center 3" ring from about 10 yards, and that was under medium-fast fire. When firing slow and steady I was able to produce a tighter group than that. I'm no expert marksman, but I would say that in terms of personal protection, this pistol is accurate to hit vital areas multiple times from 10-15 yards. Chances are that you ever have to pull a gun on someone to protect yourself they are probably going to be closer than 10 yards...

The gun also cleans very easily. The different exterior coatings wipe clean with a rag, and I had the barrel spotless again with just one pass of a cloth strip and nitro solvent, no brush.
