    Anyone know a good place? I'm talking walk in the woods find a stream to camp next to, true camping. Not the camp grounds, public place kinda thing.lol

    Appalachian trail, although its "public" its definitely not like a state park....


    im thru-hiking the whole thing next summer...

    Hmm, one day i'll take a trip up there. anything closer to central georgia? I want real camping, not the fake family crap.lol. I want to see a wall of trees, walk into it and just walk until i find a good spot to settle down for a few days

    Theres a trail near savanah, but its only 1.6 miles long,lol

    i mean if you wanna go to a wall of trees and hike till you find a flat camping place just go find some woods nearby where you live.... thats pretty much what youre looking for right?

    Lol, yeah, but I live in Warner Robins, most land is privately owned and hard to find an owner. Are WMA's campable places?

    Go to Helen.. There are many trails and good free camp sites Raven Cliff Falls is nice and quiet and Helen is about 5 miles away.
    View the world through a dogs eyes, if you can't screw it or eat it, pi$$ on it and walk away.
