    hmmmmm well i don't know all i can really do is tell you whats on the site. your probably right cause i haven't served yet or have i seen the inner workings of spec ops

    Force Recon was desolved some time ago. Its now MARSOC, an extension of SOCOM. Now its true special forces

    I was actually about to post that. The article I read said it finally happened in 2006, right after I got off active duty. It didnt say if MARSOC was actually a part of SOC though.

    Here is SOCOMs website, you will see MARSOC in the middle with all the other units that are a part of SOCOM. Actually it was 2005 i think.
