You can get them that cheap at smyrna police distributors or SPD.. At any military or police outlet.. You can get ar-15's really cheap there just goes to show how much markup there is.

it was at atlanta farmers market. I mean it was ok if you want to buy a shotgun or glock, but no bulk ammo or tools :(
maybe I will go tomorrow.. Bulk ammo is getting harder to find thanks to our wonderful president (O-Shit) ObamaQuote:

I have owned a few nice guns.. but the Glock 17, fitted me.
i rented a 19 and looked at the 22, but the glock 23 was my best fit, im gonna get some pics of the targets from friday, remember this is my first time ever firing a glock and have not been to a range in 6 years, there are a few things i need to work on but after i get what i want i will practice alot. i tried the rapid fire approach and on a 13 rd clip i only missed the mass twice which isn't bad considering i used one box of 50 for the 9mm and the 40cal.Quote:

LOL, I'm thinking about making that pic a sticky.
lol..
we should come up wiht some good general knowledge sticky for weapons in general. since this isnt really a gun forum, we should have some stickies focused on general knowledge and safety and maybe swing some newbies this way? i dunno just an idea. let me know if u wanna do that, i can help gather some intel.
I've been thinking about it too, just didn't know what all to put in. Yea man, that would be awesome though. Just shoot me a pm sometime and I'll start trying to come up with some stuff too.
my bad, thats the newb in me. if i cant find the 23 on monday i may wind up getting a .45 cal since i did pretty well with my girls, just gonna see hwats out there. i would hate to wait a month and then, ohh obama made it where you cant buy this anymore.Quote:

and dont forget .45 is more expensive to shoot. make sure u calculate that into ur total projected expenses for shooting, it makes a difference.
ohh i know, i finally got the targets home and was gonna post pics for you guys, my girl and bro were very impressed considering thats the 2nd time i have ever been to the range. my bro noticed some things i did and helped me correct them. you can see my progression on the targets lol. i love the glock though but for some reason the 9mm liked to jam a lot.Quote:

ive shot my friends XD-9 sub-compact many times and it shoots and feels great, better than a glock....
and gun shows arent bad if you're looking to buy expensive pistols and rifles.... they suck if you want ammo or reloading components
i did like the XD too. but for the $ i got the glock. thank goodness i saved a lil $ b/c i had to fix my g/f water pump last night. i thought really hard abt spending the xtra for the XD. very nice gun.Quote:
