    Default Appetite suppressants...

Do they work? What are some good ones (if they do work) that won't cost me an arm or a leg Cause frankly, if I have pay an arm or a leg for it, I wouldn't need the suppressant because I would have just lost weight by losing the limb.

But really, do they work? And do I understand correctly that it is NOT good to eat after 9pm?

    Later, QD.

not sure if you are serious or not... but... some do work and some like other shit things out there do not... :-) Hydroxycut seems to work quite well... but not as a suppressant.... but as a metablism booster..

most of the old diet drugs that were "good" are now off the market... but... do some research and you should be able to find some safe ones...:-)

no... its not really good to eat late at night because you body does not have enough activity usually to fully use all the calories you take in that late... but if you are a person that works at night or are very active then eating late will do for you what eating in the day does for the normal day person...:-)

Hey QD, if you're seriously interested then maybe swing by GNC or VitaminWorld - The associates there are generally pretty helpful and knowledgeable, just make it clear exactly what you're looking for.

And you'll probably spend at LEAST $30 on a bottle of something decent.

not good to eat around the time you sleep. Generally your metabolism drops during sleep (burn less calories), so i belive the theroy is that your body will just turn more of carbs and proteins from your midnight snack into fat and store it.

Sleep is also believed to be when muscles reconstruct the best. So people trying to gain muscle weight will down a ton of carbs and protein right before bed, along with a ton of water.

as far as appetite suppressants, im not sure. Try it the natural way. The glycemic index (GI) is an rating system we have applied to carbs that keep us full or make us hungry real fast. This explains why after having a huge as dinner and dessert you are starving like an hour and half later. Its because sugar in the dessert spikes your blood sugar. In turn your body dumps a ton of insulin in to counter it, and as you blood sugar now plummets cause of all the insulin your body gets worried it will go too low and tells you to eat more food (hunger).

Thats the basics. More than you wanted to know, im not sure?!

Preciate it, uproot. I'll check into it, but $30? Fat never looked so good until now.

I don't eat desserts. I rarely eat candy or any sweets. Most of the sugar I get from the 5-6 glasses/bottles of Coke per day. I'm just always hungry, though. Luckily my metabolism is high right now. But I do know it's getting lower with age. Plus now that it is warm and I have a new B-ball goal, I'll be out in the driveway daily doing that.

I just want to get away from being hungry all the time. Later, QD.

I would say forget appetite suppressants and just deal with your hunger by eating fruits or something inbetween meals, healthier for you then poppin pills.

Anyone taking medication for ADD can tell you about appetite suppressants, I lost about 20 pounds after I got on medication. The medication they prescribe for it is pretty much like speed and the medication they used to prescribe for losing weight, from the best I understand.
I don't know how the over-the-counter stuff works, but the doctors used to do blood tests to make sure my liver was okay for about a year after I started taking the medicine. So you may want to mention something to a doctor before taking anything too serious.
