Defensive ammo:

- I carry Hornaday TAP +P loads in all my guns. I have found it to be a good ammo. I plan on switching (but not throwing away my current small collection of TAP) to something else (to be determined) for tactical reasons only.
Very true. I mean just fine as in it works. The cases will be shorter and longer like you mentioned but you won't really notice it in a Glock or XD or Sig. In a gun where it needs to be pretty good (1911) you will for sure, Bangin Jimmy.
Defense, I carry Speer Gold dots. I love them.
