its not like anyone built a pyramid on their own. it takes less than 1/4 of the manpower to erect FAR more technically advanced and well-engineered structures. they did very well considering the resources they had, but today we can build a structure of 100000x the complexity and ingenuity with probably 1/10th of the manpower, time, etc.

not saying they didnt do VERY well with what they had. the engineering skills it took to get everything right is VERY impressive given the time period.
