As for the air force thing. I wish I would have went air force. They get a extra substandardized living pay in some places, because their barracks aren't 'nice' enough. The army, you just deal with it, lol. Unless you are married of course, then you get bah and can live on or off post. Post housing on Carson is crap so I got an apartment about 2 miles outside the gate.
