    Default Anybody go hunting?

I was thinking about picking it up as a new hobby! I did some research about when and where you could hunt around here. I'd like to do some feral hog hunting since it's year round and maybe some waterfowl hunting. I'm not 100% informed on whats needed for gun purchases and how it's fully done. Non-toxic bullets/ammo is all I know to use if I were to purchase ammo. I know you can rent guns and etc. Just wondering if anybody has any ideas/advice or maybe some day we can meetup and bring home some food! Lmk

I don't know. I didn't know them. What about yours? Of course that would explain you.

But anyway, if you really understood what my comment was about, you might not have been so stupid to make your reply. Well, you probably would. Later, QD.

its not really hard. if your over 18 you just go but a good cal gun. 308. 300mag etc and then go sit quietly. when you see a animal. look at it in scope. pull trigger. animal dies. you have food lol!

I hunt when I can. It is a great experience for people that can handle the event. If you eat meat then you should hunt atleast once. If you are wanting to hunt hogs then you will prob have to go to south ga, they are everywhere down there. Most land owners hate pigs cause they ruin farmland. First thing that you need to do is take a hunter safety course. You can find this info on Georgia DNR website. After you have a license , you can hunt when you want.

^^Definately have to get your hunter safety course and then your license. If you get caught by dnr without your license they can give you a pretty hefty fine and I think they can hold your gun as well. Just check and make sure there arent any special rules about what game you decide to hunt. I use a Browning .270 semi-auto for deer season and a Remington 12gauge for anything else. Another thing that I also carry any time im out in the woods is my S&W mp .45 for safety.
