i have at&t and for the last couple weeks we have had issues with it disconnecting all the time, the second person is coming to our house tomorrow but if it doesn't fix things its time for a new isp. what do you guys recommend?

I have Charter, used to have issues, recently it's been great.
Get Cable internet; less downtime plus it's faster and consistent.
Comcast has speeds up to 16mps now; kinda pricey though.
But if you just browse and surf without downloading anything; just get dialup or the cheapest broadband you can find.
considering charter now if the technician that comes tomorrow doesn't fix the problem.(4th person)
It really depends on who can provide service where you are at. Typically theres only 1 dsl and 1 cable provider in a given area.. Ive had comcast in the past that was very fast. Ive currently got windstream (only broadband in my area) and its decent.. they offer up to 12mbps dsl now.
