I got hired on with Honda, moving in January for 16wks

Hey everyone, I've been here all my life(but 2 years) and now I get my chance to move. I am in my second year at Georgia Tech and I entered into the co-op program. I looked around at co-op opportunities and ended up with an acceptance from Honda.

A co-op is a work term every other semester and school in between. So this spring I will be working and I will take classes this summer. Then in the fall I will be back in GaTech taking classes.

The job I was offered is in Anna, Ohio at the engine assembly plant. I will use my mechanical engineering specialization working with the other engineers. I will work on projects throughout the semester; many of which I cannot speak about

This is an amazing opportunity for me! I am one step closer to my career aspirations.

The question: Well, since I am moving, I will hit up IA every once in awhile, but I wont be coming to many meets even V meets . I am looking for forums in the Anna, OH area. If you know of any please let me know.

If you want a photoshoot done, hit me up before January!!!!! I move in January and I will be up there until May.

So, thanks to all you guys. I'm not gone forever, but I will be gone for 16 weeks at a time. I can't wait to explore a new area, a new car scene, the working world and HONDA!

I plan on jumping into the car scene up there and I will try to post some event coverage. Give another perspective I hope! I'm still looking for some decent forums up there. I need an IA fix up there too!
