HPI Blitz for sale!!
I ordered new belts, some pulleys, and taller gearing for the 2-speed (for the Super Nitro). Also picked up a second-hand starter box, hopefully these things will be arriving soon. Also did some more basic CAD models in SolidWorks.

CF upper deck.
I'll be designing a custom chassis, not sure if I'll actually be able to machine it but should be fun anyway. I'll post some pictures once I've received all my parts and rebuilt the chassis.
got the axles in and putted around the house with it. shes ready to rock.
did a nice doughnut in the kitchen. lulz
The sugar bowl track just needs a lil TLC.I made it pretty decent in just a few hours.I hate bashing b/c I get so bored. There's no real skill and you can't "master" bashing. Nah mean? I'll do it, but would rather go to a track of some sort.
-Ant.
well i find with bashing its the fun of trying to find somewhere and when you find somewhere what jumps and stuff you can find... then with those jumps and stuff see how high and far you can go... or if you find some serious rough stuff see if you can get through and over it all.
^true true. Pros and cons to each.I like the track and trying to nail one jump and land smoothly on the next. I know you can do that in bashing too, but hard to find a NICE area.I did it once with my old HPI b4 my Spektrum 3.0 radio and my HPI took off on me...which has happened a LOT.lol It ran across buford hwy and didn't get hit by one car. lolol

found a neat lookin bash spot just past atlanta motor speedway today. gonna go check it out on my next day off if anyone wants to join.
anyone looking for a good track, go to wild horse creek park its in powder springs behind tapp middle school. just stay out of the bmx'ers way, they get pissed easily and have ran over some trucks before. i would know, i used to race there. sunday is usually race day for them.
i have a mamba'd losi mini baja, 1/18 scale. kept breaking parts so i gave up hope with r/c, but have been considering an on-road lately.
i managed to get two full sessions in today without breaking. feels weird. LOL
Still having fun flying the blade mSR, the next upgrade might be to a Trex 250.

you just need to get the right setup especialy if goin mini with brushless power...i tried it with the mini lst and lept breaking diffs, then ent and got a vendetta and bash away...just gotta find the right truck or car for what you wanna do. sometimes durable isnt always the chassis you wanna work with:(sucks but take it from me, i've learned the hard way. now my 1/8th gasser lst is a brawler but the mini nearly put me in the poor house:rolleyes:
i gave up on airborne r/c's when i crashed a friends park flyer and had to pay for it a few years back. from my own experience its easier to fly a real plane. LOL
i'm not a liscensed pilot but i agree it is easier to fly the real thing, kinda like i cant play video driving games especially the road course ones but i go rr all the time in the subie:thinking:guess it's the feel thing....took a while with r/c too for me at least but now i race those too:goodjob:
good thing about air r/c now is they have gotten so affordable, i dont even fly any of my old big gas planes or heli's, now i fly those micros in the hotel poarking lots where i stay at night(traveling sales job)
but i'm with ya, it sucks to have ot pay for someone elses stuff, i had to buy a guy a lst at the track a few years back, he wanted me to dial it in and then do a few timed laps...went very well tim i came off a jump wrong and went a lil offtrack right into a 4x4 fence post at about 30mph:crazy:not good:no:so i bought him a new one and rebuilt the old one for myself:D
^ you ever get my pm?
This weekend was perfect for flying. Bring on the good weather!
i need a hobby shop southside Atl... it's time to get a bigger motor in my Tc3
yes...i know this is an old post...but
i did the exact same thing and now want back in the hobby.... just won't sink as much money into the hobby this go around.
just to be known .... i had a RS4, Super RS4, Losi XXX-4, Ofna Dominator, Ofna 1/8 buggy (can't remember which one)
oh yeah and a mini electric helicopter :boobies:
Just found an 8 tank-old HPI 18SS motor and picked it up for a good price for the Super Nitro. I have a big paper due soon and a couple exams next week... maybe I can run next Thursday?
In other news, the OS 18TZ jumped up $10 or $15 about a week ago. Sucks.
i would love a 18TZ standard crank with a slide carb bump start... to bad they do have that combo... but yes great motor. i wonder why its gone up.
