Have anyone been to this hotel?!? How was your experience? I'm looking to do something special for the wifey (as a b-day present), so I'm considering getting a room there for the weekend. So post up if you been there, or if you have any other suggestions for nice hotels. +reps will be provided for opinions

The W is ridiculous. Never stayed there but I read the Robb Report and its in there and looks effing ridiculous. I can't think of a nicer place in atlanta, I feel like that tops the ritz easily.

I actually went in there to because we were considering on using it as a venue for our wedding reception. I got to take a look inside the rooms and maan does it look nice. It's not your typical "Hotel" room. Everything is has an upscale cosmo feel even in the hallways. It will be worth the price.

I've stayed at the Perimeter one. Very nice inside and out. I wouldn't say it tops the Ritz, but it is definitely way more trendy and 'young'. Lobby almost feels like walking into a nightclub.

hahaha you freak. i took my wife to the ga terreca for our honeymoon. it was like 150 for the room and a 70 deposit cuz we didn't have a credit card. we didn't book or anything. the room was like a one bedroom apartment. full kitchen and all. and the miss's kindly re paid me. :boobies: you get the hint.

oh we got the deposit back the next morning

its nice - the bar is pretty hip too and has a pretty good night life on weekends

it's a good enough hotel to have exotics parked out in front of it every weekend. And i swear the ladies that go in and out of that place are either really expensive shofurs or their man/woman is a baller/rich person.

the W is well worth it. My friend promotes for the Whiskey Bar on the roof. This is definitely a spot for Atlanta's finest...

I stayed there one night and it's definitely very nice. I stayed down at the one in Atlantic Station. Definitely beats your normal run of the mill hotels. A buddy of ours lives in one of the top floors and we got a discount from $500-something to $350 for the night.

That hotel is F***ing nice bro, I stayed there one year with the wife when I went to the NOPI Nationals. It is a little high priced but worth every penny. Caution, when you pull anything out of the mini fridge it gets charged automatically to your bill even if you put it back. I did this and was charged about 300 dollars for the stuff I looked at including a bottle of 1983 Le Macchiole Paleo Rosso and it was only 25 ounces. So stay clear of the gold digging mini fridge.

Ive been to both W Hotels several times for events, gatherings, or for the (cough cough) VIP "special treatment". Its worth the money i think. the staff is great and everything is clean.

Honestly, I think the Ritz-Carlton would be more romantic and looks more elegant. The W hotel is nice though. It feels like more of a upscale, hip, modern art structure. I'm getting a room/suite there in a few weeks actually.

ive stayed at the one at permieter and hated it. the hotel by far was beautiful but the room we were in looked like any other hotel room...i wasnt really impressed and I love any and all hotels

Call the Intercontential Hotel, the have a b-day package. Suite, Bath package, spa package, and dinner $450
