Default Glock 19 or HK USPc

ok, so im goin to end up owning both of theses in the future but im struggling on which one to buy first. im leaning towards the glock just bc i have shot them before and love them.

gonna go with a 9mm first because i will b plunking alot and don't want to spend alot on ammo. this will also be my conceal carry. my second pistol will be a 40. (glock 23 or the upsc in .40 caliber, whichever i don't buy first).

if you think of another gun you think is better, throw it out there and y you prefer it. ALL OPINIONS ARE WELCOME!!!

USP all the way. Great quality, more comfortable to shoot (in my opinion). Honestly though, you need to look at both, handle both, and shoot one of each if possible (find a buddy with one or something). It's your gun, we dont have to carry it, dont base your decision on just our opinions.

Same here. My G23 is my daily carry. I *used* to also own a G19. It was a great gun as well. Maybe I'll pick up another one in the future.

Oh really? I can show you a Glock .45 stress test with dirt/sand/water/baby powder/ice/etc.

In that test, they also threw a USP in as well (for a few of the tests). Needless to say: the Glock fired EVERY time. The USP froze up and wouldn't fire when dirty.

    Just something to think about...

Actually, they are doing a remake and/or making a Red Dawn II (it's one of those - updating it to today's world).

With that said, I'd be more concerned about the zombie invasion if I was you...

Go with the Glock, the barrels and clips are interchangeable. No need to buy a new gun if you wanna shoot a different caliber.

If your thinking about conceal carry go with a Glock 27 40 cal. It has the fire power to stop someone and the size to conceal. trust me people wont even know you have it if place in the right spot.

I would personally go with the Glock 33 .357. More kinetic energy than a .45 even though it's just a 9mm on steroids. The only problem is that the .357 round has a super high compression, so it tears the gun up faster than other conventional ammunition.

Here's a site with good barrels in case any one was interested in changing to a different caliber.

    http://www.topglock.com/category/101...k_Barrels.aspx

I think you have to stay in the same family of frames though. The 9mm, .40 and .357 are interchangeable with each other. While the .45 and 10mm barrels are compatible with each other.

    Modular hand guns FTW.

definatly get the grip extension for the 27, thats what i have and its a must have.

remember. Gun Control is Hitting your Target.

That short handle pissed me off but its a great gun.

glock 26 .40cal is pretty compac, the handle is a little short, but getting the extended mag. helps it. it has a hard kick to it, but it's easily brought back down. I like it a lot.
