Definitely do some cardio, just don't go overboard with it. Start eating cleaner if you're not already, green leafy vegetables (broccoli, spinach, asparagus etc.) are known to help you drop fat and water fairly quickly. Oblique crunches will definitely be a must do along with the regular crunches, because it'll tighten and tone the oblique/love handle area. Let me know if you need anymore help.
