What happens when people ASSume???
I wasn't assuming anything. You explicitly stated "Italy during Napoleon and Mussolini".
Glad you read your 8th grade History book so you can come back and educate us all. You still missed the whole point, but I'm not even going to bother to repeat it to you again. Your head must be made of Oak.
You can just admit you are a dumbass. There really isn't any wiggle room in "Italy during Napoleon and Mussolini" - none.
Also, Mussolini wasn't a socialist either.
" Much later in life Mussolini said he felt by 1919 "Socialism as a doctrine was already dead; it continued to exist only as a grudge" "
"In power, the party attempted to form an economic policy that was a "third way" between capitalism and socialism, this was called Corporatism. In theory, trade unions and businesses would unite to form a cooperative organization to establish wages, hours of labour, and other issues. However when attempted to be put into practice, corporatism was heavily criticized by the industries who had provided financing in the past to Mussolini to protect them from socialism, and demanded that he keep the labour movement weakened to maintain their support, to which Mussolini and the party agreed, causing corporatism to favour businesses over workers who could only be in Fascist unions"
The failure of this argument is threefold, not only was Mussolini not a socialist, his decline from power was the result of military action and not economic implosion and it does nothing to disprove what in fact is happening right now with socialistic countries enjoying a higher standard of living than the United States.
Then there's an SAS flight waiting to take you to the promised land.....
While its true that one country ahead of us, Australia, does indeed have a unit called the "Special Air Service", I have a feeling you are too dumb to know about this and are referring to the English unit.
England wasn't ahead of us. Once again, epic failure.
Because there is only one kind of Socialism, right? Because not one of those different variants of Socialism have anything to do with Communism, right?
Socialism is about some kind of redistribution of wealth for the benefit of the whole population.
Communism is about COMPLETE CONTROL AND OWNERSHIP OF THE ECONOMY BY THE STATE.
