    sold my taurus yesterday...

what I did was basically did your normal bill of sale and also added that "I give up all rights and responsibilities to new owner" and the price I sold it for, listed everything that came with the pistol, and then the serial number.

    ie:

    1 - 9mm Taurus PT111 MIL PRO + S/N
    2 - 12 Rnd Magazines
    1 - Speed Loader
    1 - Case
    1 - Holster

make two copies, have both parties print + sign both so that you can have original signatures and you can have a witness if you like

I really dont worry in the STATE of GA to much.. No way of them tracking a gun...Only fingerprints.. and more then likely, if you sold it to someone who was planning on doing something dirty older prints are more then likely gone.

Biggest thing is, really know who you are selling to...

I am stationed there as well. Anywho.. take it to Josh over at Mission Essentials and he will prlly give you more for it>

Bill of sale, S/N, and amount - thats the way I have always done it.

Of course having a witness sign it helps

doubtful that any shop will give you more for it than what you can sell it for privately. fact is that most shops make their money on used guns so they'll never give you as much for it as what you can potentially net if you found a buyer yourself.
