the fairtax would only tax what you buy. do you think the taxes on what you buy would not go up? i am sure you would think its a great idea when your paying 30$ for a loaf of bread!

is there anything stopping the govt from raising taxes to that point now? Dont bother answering the question because we all know the answer is no.

I'm sure you can think of a better, and practicle, excuse to hate the fairtax. I'm also sure I can debunk 95% of the ones you can dream up as either being misleading or flat out wrong. The other 5% will be genuine concerns. I'm not on here saying the fairtax is perfect. I'm only saying that it is head and shoulders better than what were are currently sentenced to.

Yeah... so.... I'd rather 10 arabs get pulled out of line and searched in the airport just because of the color of their skin rather than people pulled at random.
