ok i need a product key for it. my computer came with the software on it but after you use it 25 times it locks up unless you have the product key. does anyone know how i can get one...some guy told me i would have to just buy office 07 again and its like 300 dollars or something. i really dont wanna pay 300 dollars for some frikkin numbers.
I asked a girl if i could buy her a drink, she said I have a boyfriend, so I said, well i have a goldfish, she said what? I replied, oh I'm sorry I thought we were talking about shit that doesnt matter.

If you're a RA/TA at Tech, download it from https://software.oit.gatech.edu/request.php

Alternatively, use a key generator man..

after you get used to 07 its much better.

Unless you find a cracked copy of it 07 has alot more security on it than older versions did.

My best advise is to find 2 other people that need it and split the cost. Its about $150 for office home and student at best buy. So all 3 of you could get it for $50.

    http://www.openoffice.org/

Open Office is 100% free, it has the exact same functions and capabilities of everything in the Microsoft Office package. It is even fully compatible with MS Office. It can open, create, edit all of the MS Office file types. It does Power Point type presentations, word processor, excel stuff, and even database stuff like Access.

    Its very popular.

It's free but is also a resource hog. Some comparos say it takes 4 times the amount of RAM to hold the same data in memory and files take a bit longer to open. A real deal breaker if you have to work with multiple files on a slightly older machine.
Yes, it's great when compared to a $300+ Office CD but just doesn't hold up to a free download of Office '03/'07 fom the university server.
