    <---accountant

Got out of public accounting 3 years ago and I'm loving it. I don't have to work an extra minute during tax season compared to 6 and sometimes 7 days a week, 70 hours or more.

Now I get to pay someone else to do my company taxes while I go leave work at 5:30 every day.

I liked public accounting while I was there though. You do get a lot of time off after working such awful hours and it's great experience. I don't know how people do it for years and years though.

Depends on what you want to do.

    Interning anywhere?

What type of accounting do you want to do? Public? (Audit, tax, etc). Private? Any specialty?
