best mainstream mexican restaurant in Atlanta
I might have made a similar post in the past, but who knows. I've done sushi and burgers, I prob did Mexican too.
further towards the north side I love Los Rancheros.
around the city (Atlanta) i always enjoy Los Loros.
what do you guys think for mainstream type mexican restaurant, not a hidden shack on buford that has the best guac in town, although you can let me know that too

cant remember the name but there is a place off north ptree\chamblee d'woody exit from 285just west of the bowling ally that has the best guac in town
mainstream i like on the border, and monterrays is ok too

El Tap is the sht. So is Monterrey's off of Lavista in Tucker and El Torro off of Lawrenceville Highway in Decatur.

I appreciate your input, but i hate that Monterrey's. I went there twice, once had bones in my chicken enchilada (decent size) and other time the cheese dip was nasty.
El Toro is decent though. Their enchiladas verdes are A+

I like El Ranchero on Cobb Pkwy near the South Loop and Los Bravos on Roswell Rd.
I go there once a week, awesome awesome place, great food!

I have discovered that the best part of Chipolte is.. there special Tabasco sauce. So now I keep a good supply of Tabasco brand smoked chipolte sauce on hand at all times lol.. You can go buy taco's from Taco Bell, put some of the sauce on it, and it's just as good as Chipolte lol.
