    Default Mountain Bike

I'm looking to get into mountain biking but I don't know where to start. I'm looking for some advice on a good beginner bike.

What price range are you looking at? When it comes to bicyles you can basically pay as much or as little as you want.

Craigslist. It's your first bike it doesnt need to be amazing. Specialized are always good. Can't go wrong with cannondale, but they are a bit pricey. But yeah the price range will help.

I'm rebuilding my dirt bike and need something to ride on the trails. The price range would have to be no more than $300. Car was declared totaled today so money isn't something I have right now.

Those are quality, even back in the 90's they were really light. If I could find like a 1999 Gary Fisher Big Sur I'd be really happy.

You can always go to Wal -Mart and get one in your price range. Their actually not that bad of bikes for the beginner.

Everything looks quality on this bike. A few years old but it has disc brakes, rock shox, not bad for $250.
