Just for the day? If you're on Tybee, go to Spanky's and ask for Sarah W to be your server.. she's mad hot and a good friend of mine.
What are you looking to get into? like just spend the day at the beach or go clubbing at night or what? River Street is always fun to hit up, and at the corner of McDonough St and Drayton there's a bar called McDonough's which is SO much fun.
Ummmmmm Bernie's on River Street is a fun bar, too.
Ummmmmmmmmmmmm... yeah. Check out City Market, too. Anyone can tell you how to get there.
Be careful, though... Savannah has a pleasant atmosphere, but it's a way dangerous city, so keep your wits about you.
Let me know if you're looking for anyting in particular to do and I can help you out.

Just something fun, some sight seeing, maybe some beach if it's hot

hmmm that's not too long. There's cool tours that go around town if you're into that kind of thing, but they can be pricey... the carriage tours are like $20/person, and I think the graveyard and historical site tours are too. You should be able to download an interesting sights map of some sort, and then you can just park your car and walk around. If you do that, be careful, like I said.... bums live in the squares and will ask for money during the day, but as night falls they start getting less and less pleasant.
Tybee can be very hit or miss on population there... according to my phone, it's gonna be a high of 85 tomorrow but stormy. The ocean water itself will be pretty frigid but it might be nice to go cruise... if it's not stormy and you decide to go to Tybee, you're gonna take Victory Drive out through Thunderbolt and onto Whitmarsh Island then Tybee... Victory turns into Hwy 80 as you go through Thunderbolt. My favorite "way" to hit Tybee is to stick on 80 allllllll the way down. It will go through the main drag, through a small residential area, and then there will be a gravel parking lot where they're building new houses. It's pay parking, but I think it's like $3 for 4 hours or something, and the cool thing is that those damn parking meters take credit cards. LOVE that about Sav. Anyways... park there then head out to the beach. You'll be where locals call "the Jetties" at the very southern tip of the island. Pelicans hang out there, and I think the view is the best there. Rock jetties go out into the water and it's just fun stuff. From there you can either go down the beach (turn right when you get on the beach from the parking lot) and see the small lagoons and some BALLER beach houses, or you can go north (turn left), and after about a quarter of a mile or so you will see the big pier. When I head north I always make the pier my "turn around" spot. The Jetties tend to be less crowded because not a lot of families hang out there (people have been killed on the rocks). I like it quieter because there's less people to be stupid lol. So I'll hang at the Jetties and then head up to the pier for a drink or 4, then head back down.
And definitely go to Spanky's and ask for Sarah. :P
If you decide to stay in town because of weather or whatever then I recommend hitting River Street... it's just kind of one of those things you "do" in town lol. There's a bunch of little tourist shops, and the main advantage is that if it starts raining, you can just step into one of the shops and out of the weather, whereas if you're walking around the squares you're kinda stuck in the rain lol.
The unfortunate thing is that if it's raining, then there's really not much to do... almost all of Savannah's cool stuff involves outdoor history, so if it's raining there's not much to do without getting wet.
But if it is raining, about 15-20 minutes outside of Savannah is the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum, which is WAY cool. They have all KINDS of planes and cool stuff to play with.
But I would check the weather before you leave... if it looks like rain, you might want to reschedule your trip, mainly because Sav is boring when it rains, and it would suck to drive 3-4 hours, spend a bunch of money on gas, and then end up just going to the mall or going to a movie because it's raining when you could have saved the time/gas money and stayed in town and done that lol.
