e-1/e-5 combat service has nothing to do with picking up in the Corps....And if i remember correctly MCI, PFT, RIFLE RANGE, PROS CONS, help you pick up CPL. And its BASED OFF YOUR MOS!!! some have harder time picking up if there mos is closed or open....I mean I wouldnt know i just got back 2.5 weeks ago so IDK...
