Because anyone who would be in the market for that kind of thing could just buy themselves a more effective and equally concealable MP5K.

This actually has a pretty obvious market. The barrel is only 2 inches shorter than the M4's. However, it uses polygonal rifling which produces higher muzzle velocities (better gas seal behind the bullet) than conventional rifling techniques to make up for this. The weapon however is still much smaller than the M4, 29.8 in (757 mm) (stock retracted) on the M4 compared to 20 inches for the Magpul PDR. If you're going to lose lethality with the shorter barrel... you might as well make it truly compact.

Honestly, I'd rather own both. MP5K is great for government work, but that folder is based on a glock, meaning there would be an affordable, available civilian version, rather than a still super expensive H&K or comparable knockoff.

You might as well buy a regular Glock, then. There's nothing novel about the fold out guns, the Ares FMG and another Soviet designed folding gun has been around for years. They're pretty easy to pick out.

Some people like Carbines. I don't need one, nor would I buy one anytime soon. I've got 2 guns that are great that I rotate for EDC, plus plenty more at the house.

You don't want or need a machine pistol for self defense.

As a side note, you can get automatic Glocks that aren't barely disquised as a huge flashlight with a handle.

As a girl, I can see the advantages of the first prototype... fits easily concealed in a purse, and say someone were to run by and grab your purse.. if it falls out, it's not like "HELLO! GUN IN PURSE!" which can make the situation a lot worse... Think about it...

Chick is walking down the street, thief runs by and grabs her purse. A girl is automatically gonna grab for it to try to stop him. Generally, when the girl grabs for it, some of the heavier things fall out. A gun is pretty damn heavy, so if the girl has a gun in her purse, it has now fallen out. There's a chance that the thief will see it fall and grab it. Now the situation has turned from a simple robbery/pursesnatching to a dangerous armed situation where, if the thief did think fast enough to grab the gun, the thief now has total control.

With the folding gun, if it falls out, the thief doesn't realize what it is, and the girl can grab it, unfold it, and now SHE is in control.

Fuck stance. Stance is for kids in skinny jeans with Justin Beiber haircuts. You don't need stance when you got swagger.

No, I actually just said there's no real utility for this kind of thing (fold out guns) since they're painfully easy to pick out and less concealable than the pistols they're based on, all the while being no more deadly. You just imagine I am forcing it on you since you disagree with them.

To turn that clever type of statement around on you which you employed, you're just an idiot who's upset I'm more intelligent than you and don't totally suck at CoD4.

If you're going to be petty at least throw in some substance.

    Neaner.
