Default post some pictures/specs of your setup

VERY bored waiting on 3:00 to get here today so I thought I'd take a pic with some specs of the little beast I built for myself at work.

Case: Thermaltake XaserIII with full fan control (4 cooling fans)
Motherboard: Asus K8V SE 64 bit
Power supply: 450 watt with cooling controlability
    Ram: 1gig hyper
    Processor: AMD Athlon 64bit 3000+
video card: NVDIA GeForce FX 5600XT (128mb ram)
Hard drive: Seagate SCSI 40 gig
    Burner: Cheapo 52x burner

Monitor: SAMSUNG SyncMaster 213T 21.3" lcd

Yes I am a ubernerd but this machine smokes for CAD. I need a better video card & another gig of ram.

Here is what I got in my work computer:

    Intel 865D Perl motherboard,
    Pentium 4 3.4 with HT,
    2 Gigs of RAM DDR2,
    NVIDIA GE Force4 MX 4000,
    80 Gig Hardrive,
    CD-RW 52x32x52,
    DVD-RW,
    black/chrome case,

The case looks alright...but the computer hauls some major ass...I have never had it freeze up or bog down since I got it...and mostly I run photo editing and web editing programs...but this thing is designed for video editing...

But here is the computer that I want...

That V8 is pretty cool, the only problem is the amount of space it would take up, and the money to fill up all the bays.

i think some of it just might be made to look like extra bays cause yeh that would cost alot to fill that thing up with stuff

The V8 thing is a little over kill for my taste... when i went to buy my case i went to a place that specializes in server cases i wanted something decent size that could cool well and had a strong power supply. oh and is lockable.

My PC is at home and oh how I miss it. With me out of town I have my Dell Inspiron Laptop.
I did just build a computer at work for our graphics guy though...

    Generic case with 4 fans
    550w PSU
    ASUS Mobo
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400 (Yes, this bad boy is dual core)
2x WD Raptor 74g 10k RPM SATA Raided
GForce 6800 Ultra PCIE 256 (Drool) Its still on the way so for now were using a Matrox Dual output card
    4x 512 Corsair DDR 3200 (2 gigs baby)

Running stock cooling components right now. Depending on how it handles I might end up building a water cooling kit for it.

Now if I could only call it my own.

yeah, i ended up with this chip because it was the only one i could find that was compatable with the motherboard...the plan was to throw a celeron d in just to make it run, but the case/motherboard was an impulse buy at the computer show so i didn't have time to research it before i bought it, turned out to be a bad board too so that made figuring out the problem even more confusing...the show was a couple months ago and i just got everything working sunday
