    Default open relationship- wtf is it and why?

    ok so theres this girl. shes incredibly attractive. i just met her about 2 weeks ago in my class. got her number on the first day. woot. she is flirty, and funny. we exchange countless texts. she finds me on facebook. her thing says "single" for the first day. then it goes to "in an open relationship". WTF does that mean? seriously? why the **** do they have to tease you saying that its OPEN, why cant they just say "in a relationship" so that I dont have to sit here guessing if theres a possible chance or not????

    so does she have a boyfriend? well she sent me some text about why she was in kennessaw, and it was regarding this "guy she is dating". so does she have a boyfriend or not?

    so ****ing confusing. if you have any input, please share.

    i'm in an open relationship.

    like i'm seeing one particular guy, but if i see another hot guy, i can go with him. but when i'm with my guy, we act like a complete couple. but when we go our seperate ways, i can always see another guy. and he can always see another girl.

    our rule is we have to tell each other if there is another person.

    it's kinda like talking (you know the thing you do before you go out with someone) but it's more official.

    i dont get it. if i was the guy that this girl was seeing, i wouldnt want other guys to have the opportunity.

    and if you are in an open relationship, it's pretty easy to walk away.

    that's unless she has feelings for the guy she's in the open relationship

    and the guy just wants sex. then she's pretty much screwed.

    but these things don't last, because people usually get feelings.
