    Default My Mom's Xmas Present

So for xmas I wanted to do something nice for my mom. I wanted to get her bathroom remodeled but it's very costly to get a bath remodeled in NY. So I made it happen.

I rented an RV, schudeled for my boyfriend to do the work (since he does this kind of stuff for a living) purchased all the materials here to atlanta and had it shipped to NY. The RV was a good decision since it took him 4 days to complete the job, otherwise I would be peeing in the backyard LOL. He could of done more but ran out of time.

Anyways here are some of the before and after pics.

I don't "remodeled" is the word. Looks like he re-tiled it and changed the shower head. Looks like good work but far from a remodel, lol.

The word remodel means changed or make new. So I would consider it a remodel. He demolished the existing walls and put up cemet boards on the floor and walls.

I would know since I work for a construction company

I believe you, the spelling shows J/k!

If all the walls were replaced with greenboard or cement backerboard and tiled then I'd consider it a remodel...maybe not a complete renovation but at least somewhat of a remodel.

Perhaps we have a different idea of a remodel. A remodel to me wouldn't be keeping the old sink or faucet knobs, countertops, cabinets and toilet.

    Nice gift regardless.

As a matter fact it is.. if your my rep I wanna kick your butt. I had so much trouble ordering from them through my company *hmph*

First it took me calling him 4 times just to process my order. Then when all the materials arrived at their store, no one called me to let me know so I could make payment. So it sat there for another week before I called them and asked. Then when I made payment they delivered it and left it in the middle of the street.

So I ordered $1,000 worth of tile and was still treated with poor customer service. I ordered tile for my company all the time, now I remebered why I switched to specialty tile for our tile products.
