since this is gun related.....
they say you shouldnt practice with your personal protection firearm but i do...so i wanna know what wears down or goes bad from casual use(once every month or so)?
Who says that? I totally believe in it. You need to know how the gun operates and you need to know how you perform with it. As far as casual use, not much will. Check the slide but it should be fine. What do you have?
That is the same exact gun I have. Not a bad gun at all for the price.Originally Posted by 3.5altman
I only have a 1911 Springfield right now, but I have had XD's (9 and 40) and some Glocks.
I'm going to buy a P22 and P99 (probably at the same time) next, then go for my own AR15 and save for an MP5 once I have my form 4 signed off and stamp paid.
Home defense will soon consist of a Glock 19 with Glock 18 Magazines piled next to it.

Here ya go, I'll post it here for everyone to see.
Now I'm not a big book reader at all but these are all good reads.
1. Marine Sniper By:Charles Henderson
The Story of the Marine legend Sgt. Carlos Hatcock II and his 93 confirmed kills during Vietnam. This book will draw you in.
2. Silent Warrior By:Charles Henderson. Kind of a part two to the story, Some retelling with more details and a deeper look at THE MAN after the war.
3.Shooter, By: Stephen Hunter. I know the movie was OK but the book is 100 x better. Way more details and much better story/plot involving his father. Its kind of funny but they use Hathcock's name and life a few times in the book but He is called Carl Hitchcock. lol. You can get these at the library or Barns and Noble.
Thanks man.
